I love crystal. Wanted a cake holder that does not have a stand. Know this was for a pie but I was hoping a cake would fit. Sure enough an Angel Food Cake fits. The product is great.

This is a gorgeous piece of crystal. Heavy and makes a beautiful presentation of your pie/cheesecake/etc. I loved it so much that I ordered one and had it sent to my sister for her wonderful cheesecakes.

The cuts in the crystal are beautiful. I This could easily accommodate a regular two-layer 9" cake making it versatile as well. It's a very heavy piece. The beauty and versatility are 5-stars for sure.Why only 3 stars overall? My piece arrived with a lot of "bubbles" in the crystal...both the plate and the dome. I realize bubbles can be an indication of an item being hand-blown. I don't think that is the case here. The glue used for the handle is completely visible and somewhat sloppily done. Maybe my piece was a second and not first quality.Had I purchased this in a brick-and-mortar I would have returned it. It's way to heavy to try to repack and haul to a UPS location for return.
